About Benefit For The Brain
In 2023, Grammy-nominated country-soul artist Drake White hosted the inaugural Benefit for the Brain at the historic Ryman Auditorium—a sold-out night that brought together powerful music and a powerful mission. Inspired by his personal journey of recovery after a life-threatening stroke in 2019, Drake turned his story into a platform for change, raising awareness and critical funds for brain and mental health.
Joined by an all-star lineup—including Randy Houser, Riley Green, Jamey Johnson, and Colbie Caillat—Drake and friends raised over $250,000 to support brain-focused nonprofits such as CreatiVets, Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, and the Miracle Hope Foundation.
The event focuses on three pillars:
Mental wellness for military and veterans, especially PTSD
Brain health in children and adolescents
Innovative approaches to stroke recovery and neurological treatment
The success of the first Benefit for the Brain ignited a growing movement—one that uses music to bring hope, raise awareness, and fund life-changing solutions.
Now, as anticipation builds for the second annual Benefit for the Brain, supporters, fans, and changemakers are invited to be part of this continuing story of resilience, recovery, and impact.
